Rebels!
This is Rodol, here is the new Rival Rebels Mod update 1.6.4G 1.6.4F 1.6.4E & 1.6.4D  for Minecraft. It adds the LTD-RR Laser Target Designator unit, the B-2 Spirit Stealth bomber, the B-83 Tactical Nuke and the Controller, that is finally operational!!. As you probably know Minecraft 1.7.4 was released, but because of the huge amount of changes Mojang did to its engine, Forge is still in Alpha mode for 1.7.2 and I'm not planning to port RR until the basic stuff is working! RR is too huge.
Also in the update, new translations to Estonian! special thanks to Endrik. Aitäh!

The new features are not as simple to use as shown on the video. The controller mechanics, timings, renders and ranges are now all functional. Please use this tutorial to learn how.

This update includes the most shocking and destructive weapons in Minecraft, featuring The B-2 Spirit Bomber, The M-83 Tactical Nuke, M202-RR (Rocket Launcher), The Ein-Sten (a Laser fragmentation machine), plus all the previous items: the Tsar Bomba, the original Nuke, the Tesla, Flamethrower, Plasma Cannon, Rod Disk, Cuchillo, Gas Grenades, explosives, structures, armor & ammo.

On RR version 1.6.4G I partially fixed the render glitch reported in a few machines. If you still see a warning on the LTD item, please be sure that RivalRebels.zip is inside your mods folder (if it's called RivalRebels(1).zip or anything else IT WON'T WORK!) I will make a permanent fix for those special cases in the next update. See more detailed info below on the change-log.

Multiplayer Commands!!

Op commands:
/reset all   (deletes all the team files and all the resets counts)
/reset <player name>   (deletes the given player's team files and reset counts)
/roundstop   (stops the battle round, preventing the 'next battle window' to show again)
/reset wincount  (resets the teams battle victories count to zero)


Player commands:
/killme  (kills the player)
/rr <password>  (allows the player to enter Rod Disk rank password)

- Turn on/off LTD's B key (to super-zoom) set the config file, misc (B:BKeyZoom=true) or false.
- When the B2 is shot down before nuking, it drops a nuclear rod.




Changes:


- Tesla range was nerf to 250 blocks.
- Ein-Sten sound was lowered two notches.
- The Controller 3D screen texture emulates the TN GUI.
- The Controller item image emulates the TN GUI.
- Officer's rank Rod Disk has a red texture to match the redstone rode power source.



Glitches:


- RR config file now keeps changes.
- Sound fix on objectives.
- Holding the B key & using the mouse wheel to zoom works properly.
- Typing the B key on the chat no longer affects the view.
- Server side packet 20 & 21 DERP are fixed, a leftover that was crashing the server.
- Server side null pointer on B2 is fixed.
- Server side null pointer on Tesla is fixed.
- Shift key no longer fits any item on the controller GUI slots.
- The B2, LTD and B-83 were reported invisible on few machines. I'm pretty sure the problem is that the RivalRebels.zip was unzipped or renamed during download (by the browser or the OS). To fix the render glitch, RivalRebels.zip has to be inside the mod folder (in .zip form), and called RivalRebels.zip. If you find the file with a different name like RivalRebels(1).zip or anything else please rename it.
I will make a permanent fix for those cases in the next update. But if you still get error messages contact me on the RR FORUM  Thanks!

M202-RR Rocket Launcher Update

Rival Rebels mod update 1.6.4B. For Minecraft 1.6.4 !!!

Hello Rebels!
I'm Rodol Phito, in this update I'm including the new M202-RR in-hand 3D render for the old Rocket Launcher, plus some bug fixes. This should be the last update for MC 1.6.4. As you probably know, Minecraft 1.7.2 was released, but because of the huge amount of changes Mojang did to it's engine, MCP, Forge and FML are going to take longer to give us the new API to run MODS.  So in short, be patient, the change is big so it's going to take time, anyway you can keep playing Mods in 1.6.4 through the new MC launcher's profile. 

The M202 RR is the new name of the rocket launcher. The 3D model I made is my replica of the M202 FLASH, (FLame Assault SHoulder Weapon) from the 60's, with a few adaptations to make it more playable, like not from handle - cover, no back cover and very short ammunition cartridges. Also the rockets are conventional and not incendiary. 
Also in this update some nuke / Tsar glitch fixes: reported by Quinn Spitzer Thanks! 
Corrections on the German Translation: reported by Tetrapacker Danke!

Rival Rebels 1.6.4 Download

Rival Rebels mod 1.6.4A release. For Minecraft 1.6.4 !!!

Hi Rebels!
I'm Rodol Phito the author of Rival Rebels mod. This is the re-release of the Ein-Sten "mob's fragmentation laser" for MC 1.6.4.
I named it Ein-Sten in honor of Albert Einstein, (As a tribute to his 1917 original quantum laser theory) combined with the Sten, a practical machine gun from the same period. 
The weapon holds the power of the Redstone Rods, that it uses as ammunition, to destroy mobs and players by tearing the bodies apart like lego pieces. Please note the laser cannon is a short range, crowd control type of weapon that dismembers Zombies, Creepers, Endermen, Skeletons, Ghasts, Zombie Pigmen, Slimes, Witches, Magma Cubes, etc. etc. but NOT animals. This weapon only hurts hostile mobs, even from other mods as long as they are not animals.
The weapon has a highly advanced in-hand render, and shows best at NIGHT/DARK. This is because the contrast becomes greater, and the red in the energy barrel stands out against the darkness. Also note its animated reloading mechanism, and how the redstone rods in the inventory get depleted when used in survival mode.

To fire the Ein-Sten laser, hold down the trigger until the weapon warms up and discharges a barrage of laser projectiles that will make your enemies pop like popcorn. Also note that when the opponents are using RR armor a large amount of shots are necessary to break it and pop the player.
Player limbs will keep the user's skin, and body parts will remain for a few seconds before de-spawning.
The Ein-Sten also ignites the time bomb, C4 and regular MC's TNT when fired at.      Have fun!.

MCPE 0.7.4 Released

The MCPE update 0.7.4 is here but for once its not on iOS first! It is released on the Amazon App store!
What's new in version 0.7.4

Hello Rebels!

RR 1.6.2E for MC 1.6.2 !!
Additions!! Now, battle round victory count displays the totals on the selector GUI & on the Winner Team GUI.
Also, Minecraft scoreboard system have been implemented to work automatically when placing the gamestarter block, (Blocking Friendly-Fire, displaying Team color tags, Top kills and Total deaths).

How to build the Tsar Bomba




This update includes the most shocking and destroying weapons in Minecraft, featuring Mother Russia's Tsar bomba, a very retro nuke, based on the biggest ever made, (lucky for us).  A monster bomb that you can build and detonate in a similar way to RR original nuke.



EDIT: RR version 1.6.2E is deprecated, please use version 1.6.2H instead




Stop! You must delete the config files when updating or the game will crash!!!

New Multiplayer Commands!!


Op commands:
/reset all   (deletes all the team files and all the resets counts)
/reset <player name>   (deletes the given player's team files and reset counts)
/roundstop   (stops the battle round, preventing the 'next battle window' to show again)
/reset wincount  (resets the teams battle victories count to zero)


Player commands:
/killme  (kills the player)
/rr <password>  (allows the player to enter Rod Disk rank password)

New easy way to install Forge for 1.6.2 !!! Don't drag files into the MC .jar no more!!

How to install Forge 1.6.2 

Download the installer (not the universal) double click it, choose client and the correct path if is not already selected for you. Click OK. Drag Rival Rebels zip file inside the mods folder into your minecraft directory. And remember to remove any old config files to avoid ID conflicts. Is inside the minecraft/config folder.
When opening Minecraft launcher, select Forge on the profile drop menu, is at the bottom corner, and type your username and password to play.  Have fun!

This update includes all the previous features of the mod plus additions and lots of tweaks to ensure 1.6.2 compatibility.

How to build the Tsar nuke:

To start, you need to pile 8 crates, and they are 4 nuke tops and 4 nuke bottoms.


Then using the pliers on the top front one you will get the nuke shell.


Clicking the nuke shell center at the circular access latch will open the bomb's interface.


Now you have to set all the components into the right places, Fuse, a timed bomb and 2 Antennae,  and an equal amount of nuclear rods and hydrogen rods on the top and bottom of the load are necessities.
If all requirements are met, the bomb will be armed.
The amount of rods is variable, allowing smaller explosions for small PC's.


If the amount of nuclear and hydrogen rods are not the same the UNBALANCED warning will display.

The crater features new blocks: the scorched stone and petrified wood, two very radioactive and harmful additions, that will drain your health while walking on them. The explosion petrifies trees in place.

Also, I included a new inventory tab for all RR's items.


Plus, more translations, glitch fixing and now you can target practice on flares with the Rod disk.

Additions:

- Fire detonates the plastic explosives

- Battle round victory count now totals at the bottom of the selector GUI.
- Battle round victory count now displays at the bottom of the team win GUI.
- There are two new op commands:

- Minecraft's scoreboard system have been set to work automatically when placing the gamestarter block. Now, team color name tags are present, green for omega and blue for sigma. Friendly fire is set to false, (only on melee attacks). Player total deaths display next to the name on the player list (tab key). And top players, by kills, are show on the sidebar.



Changes:

- German translations have been corrected. Thanks to NowItsYourCraft for his contribution!!
- Omega & Sigma objectives are no longer offset from the circular platform after many battle rounds.

- Rod disk ranges are greater.
- In single player, nukes can be set to 0 in the count down trough the config file, < NuclearBombCountdown=0  > to allow  Chest-Hopper-Redstone & Lever detonations, idea from Hellgate79 , Thanks!
- Plasma projectile's hue now matches the plasma explosion lilac color.


Glitches:


- The jump-block is repaired
- Holding back the grenade doesn't crash the game anymore.
- Damage source messages have been tweaked.

- All custom sounds are fixed
- Game doesn't crash when Rod disk is thrown or Controller Laptop is placed
- Game no longer crash when walking into the gas grenade's fumes

When updating the mod, please REMEMBER TO DELETE THE CONFIGURATION FILES INSIDE minecraft/config  FOLDER!
(to avoid item ID's conflicts between different mods and previous versions)






EDIT: RR version 1.6.2E is deprecated, please use version 1.6.2H instead



Stop! If you fail to remove the old config files when updating to version E the Tsar Nuke will crash your game!!!
